Alshamel/CWT SatoTravel gets rave reviews from US Coastguards

Alshamel/CWTSatoTravel employees receive rave recognition: Alshamel/CWTSatoTravel employees located at the United States Navy base in Bahrain recently received plaques of appreciation from the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Mobile Unit Four (EODMU 4). Employees were praised for their outstanding customer service support.

SatoTravel has partnered with Alshamel Travel and Tourism since 2000. The partnership began because there were U.S. Air Force bases being served in Kuwait out of the United Kingdom, and SatoTravel thought it would be more efficient if in-country agencies were available to aid military members. Since then, SatoTravel and Alshamel have partnered together, servicing the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and U.S. Coast Guard, in Kuwait and Bahrain offices. Recently, Alshamel joined the CWT Partner Network overseas. Alshamel, led by Chief Executive Officer Derin Cameron, understands and supports the CWTSatoTravel brand and presents a familiar face to military members and families in the Middle East.

A popular, poignant aspect of CWTSatoTravel/Alshamel's business is supporting the Rest & Recuperation (R&R) Leave Program, which was established by the U.S. Central Command in 2003 for its military personnel and Department of Defense civilian employees in the Central Command Area of Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The team works to issue tickets to military members' home destinations for 15 days of R&R, away from the battlefields.
