Senior Marketing Executive

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Assist in the development of the marketing annual plan from a financial and operational perspective including goals & objectives, and cost saving targets.
  2. Develop the annual business plan for the Marketing function with the company’s strategy.
  3. Develop and review Marketing policies, SLAs based on business needs, develop all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient management within the company and ensure compliance to Marketing policies and procedures by all department staff.
  4. Manage all activities of the Marketing department viz. market research and analysis, advertising, product conceptualization, public relations and media.
  5. Develop RFPs for advertising, promotions, media and other marketing requirements and evaluate proposals from vendors.
  6. Manage advertising related activities such as advertising content, frequency and medium of advertising such as print and electronic.
  7. Analyze the needs of customers through segmentation analysis by customers, competitors, products and services to aim the advertising and communication strategies (online, press releases, mail-shots and trade shows) at the right people.
  8. Organize and develop advertising, corporate communication (newsletter, brochure) and marketing content for promoting the company across various customer segments.
  9. Develop products or packages mainly for leisure business line based on customer segments, market requirements for a business line, opportunities available with other business affiliations.
  10. Develop market intelligence on competitor, product and services and pricing, abreast with latest trends and keep the Senior Management informed of significant developments in product and prices and alert them of the implications of such developments.
  11. Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust limits or levels of marketing efforts in order to execute all product categories across customer segments based on product mapping with competition, and benchmarking practices.
  12. Responsible for market research and data analysis comprising of destination, economic, customer and sales data analysis to ascertain product, customer perception and perceptual mapping of customers among many others.
  13. Develop corporate communication calendar and ensure its execution based on planned timeline and budget.
  14. Develop a series of trackers to monitor and evaluate the success of all promotional activity, seeking to spread best practice in an effective manner and to ensure effective use of the marketing budget.
  15. Monitor the negotiation of contracts or rates from potential vendors and monitor the delivery process to ensuring time deadlines are maintained and payments are arranged.
  16. Conduct client satisfaction surveys and analyze results.
  17. Develop and maintain customer database for the purpose of customer relationship management.
  18. Develop, maintain and enhance the relationships with public relation agencies and prepare for press release.
  19. Lead networking, public relations and liaising with media for press releases.
  20. Represent the company at various forums and assist management in any other tasks as required by the business.

Education & Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor Degree in Marketing or equivalent
  2. Master’s Degree in Marketing is preferred

Experience:

 

  1. 10 years experience in Marketing
  2.  Exposure to corporate business from airline, travel and hospitality industry
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role in Travel industry or customer-service oriented environment

Cashier

Locations: Doha and Kuwait

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive payment by cash, cheque, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits

2. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers

3. Deposit cash/cheque in bank and monitor the clearance

4. Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change

5. Maintain petty cash as per business requirement and reconcile it on daily basis

6. Maintain daily cash report

7. Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales

8. Perform bank reconciliation weekly

9. Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins

10. Receiving payments and reconciling them with total sales

11. Ensure all transactions are getting recorded in the system

12. Resolve customer complaints

13. Reconcile all payable and receivable balances as per books and maintain the smooth process of payments

Education & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Accounting

Experience:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role in Travel Industry
2. Should have working experience on any ERP system

Requirements:

1. Available to join immediately

2. Must have an NOC and local transferable visa

3. Excellent communication skills
4. Arabic is an advantage

Travel Consultant

Locations: Jordan & Kuwait (High Profile Customer)

Job Description

Role Objective:

To book, amend and cancel air travel, hotel accommodation, car rentals and other travel-related products and services in line with client requests and company procedures. Provide efficient and superior service to clients by offering cost effective and acceptable travel solutions that exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain service levels and achieve monthly/annual targets of booking tickets based on Alshamel’s operating policies and procedures.
2. Prioritize emails from corporate and travel coordinators based on client commitments and Alshamel’s operating policies and procedures.
3. Prepare multiple fare quotations using Global Distribution System (SABRE) for varied travel needs consistently and per customer requirement.
4. Process the flight ticket, insurance, accommodation/hotel, visas and other travel related service request and cater to related customer queries on emails or telephone.
5. Provide superior customer service.
6. Attend to customer complaints and customer queries based on client contract guidelines and Alshamel’s operating policies and procedures.
7. Conduct day-to-day operational activities based on agreed-upon SLAs or Alshamel’s operating policies and procedures.
8. Generate maximum revenue and profitability with use of deals and promotions as per the operating policies and procedures.
9. Prepare response to the Agent Debit Memos (ADM) on regular basis.
10. Ensure cascading of relevant communication to customers on regular updates and messages from airlines (non-availability of seats, change in fares).

Skills

Education & Qualifications:

  1. High School or Diploma in IATA or equivalent preferably in travel related courses
  2. With Bachelor’s degree is an advantage

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar role in Travel Industry
  2. Experience in Ticketing and Reservations and GDS (preferably in Sabre)

Other qualifications

  1. Good customer service
  2. Excellent English communication skills
  3. Knowledge in Arabic, verbal and written is a plus
  4. Self-motivated, articulated, proactive, and a good team player

Sales Executive

Location: Al Khobar & Kuwait

Job Description

Role Objective:

To exceed revenue targets through maximization of every business opportunity in the local market and effective account management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all sales activities that include customer acquisition, lead generation, follow up on leads, business generation, minimize and support account receivable and new offerings conceptualization as per Alshamel’s strategy and revenue targets.
2. Identify and exploit new opportunities for revenue.
3. Set call patterns which maximize selling opportunities.
4. Gather and report market intelligence.
5. Optimize the yield/capacity trade off through effective negotiation.
6. Negotiate, conclude and manage a variety of sales deals.
7. Prepare all proposal documents as required in the Tenders/ Requests for Proposals. Ensure that the tenders are submitted as per the specified date. Ensure the tender documents are complete, consistent, error free and necessary copies are submitted.

Skills

Education & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role in Travel Industry or customer-service oriented environment.
