Alshamel Travel Enhances its Local and Regional Corporate Travel Services

New people and services to meet the growing demand from its corporate customers across the region

Alshamel Travel, one of the region’s leading travel management companies, announced that it is enhancing its local and regional corporate business services to meet the growing demand for Local Corporate Travel by its clients.

As part of the company’s enhancements to the local corporate travel unit, Alshamel Travel appointed Fazal Baig – Regional Country Manager based in Dubai to head the Local and Regional Corporate Travel services, which will be supported by two newly created divisions; Supplier Management Unit, headed by Sanjiv Gandhi as Supplier Management Director and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) Division, headed by Alaa Fouad as Regional Manager – MICE services. Moreover, a 24-hour Regional Contact Center was established in Kuwait to provide after-hours services to all local and regional offices, Emergency Travel Services (EST), air, hotel, car bookings, Leisure Travel services and other enquiries. This will be headed by Charles Pinho, Senior Operations Manager.

The prestigious Business Destinations Awards committee has announced that Alshamel Travel, the region’s fastest growing travel management company, has been awarded the category of “Best Travel Management Company – Middle East” in the 2013 Business Destinations Awards.
